The Adagio String Quartet is a professional string quartet based in Cheshire and covering the North West of England. We are passionate about providing you with the very best in live music and specialise in performing at weddings, corporate functions and other special occasions.
As a quartet, we share a wealth of experience, ranging from pop to classical. We play regularly with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Northern Ballet Theatre, Hallé and BBC Philharmonic Orchestras. We also have enjoyed television appearances, appearing on Heaven & Earth Show with Sir Cliff Richard, Granada TV with Bonnie Tyler and more recently on Channel 4's programme T4 with Richard Hawley.
We have performed at most major wedding and events' venues in the North West including Capesthorne Hall, Shrigley Hall, Crewe Hall, Rookery Hall, Adlington Hall, Mere Court Hotel, Mere Court Golf & Country Club, Arley Hall and Midland Hotel. We have an extensive repertoire and offer a wide range of music from baroque, light classical and romantic to jazz and pop.
