Charlie Allen (singer-song writer, pianist) is a musician with rare talents. He has played trombone, piano and sung with jazz orchestras. He has arranged and written music for stage in Paris and the UK. He has also written his own material which tends to be of a more laid back psychedelic bent: including an album called Chandelier and a second album currently in the works called Cut Crystal with a more Leonard Cohen influence.
He works solo as a blues and jazz pianist/vocalist covering rat pack at prestigious venues, for high profile corporate events and celebrity weddings. He has also played jazz at the renowned Old Duke in Bristol with Cas Caswell and blues in the same venue with Eddie Martin.
As a composer, he has written music for amongst other plays: Sweet Ladies (currently being staged in a central theatre in Paris), inter-play music for a suite of Beckett productions and is currently working on a musical called Janie.
